What to verify on your exact RV before buying

RV gear is unusually dependent on the rig. Record your shore-power service, tire size and required pressure, cargo capacity, city-water connection, sewer outlet location, installed camera prep, generator transfer arrangement, storage-bay dimensions, and the model numbers of major appliances. A product can be excellent and still be wrong for your RV.

Before choosing between two similar RV accessories, search for the boring parts: replacement seals, filters, sensor batteries, cables, mounting brackets, hoses, gauges, remotes, and manuals. A product with a healthy replacement-parts ecosystem can remain useful for years; a sealed gadget with no parts support may become waste after one small failure.
